Ms. Trostorff earned her BS from Cornell University and MSW and JD from Washington University. Ms. Trostorff has substantial experience in the representation of for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals, and hospital systems, academic medical centers, physicians, nursing homes, home health agencies, occupational health, physical therapists, pharmaceutical companies, durable medical equipment suppliers, billing companies, preferred provider organizations, health maintenance organizations, insurers and other health care practitioners, entities and managed care companies.
Ms. Trostorff advises clients on health care regulatory matters including Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, corporate compliance, fraud and abuse, false claims, qui tam, voluntary disclosure, Stark law, licensing, survey, certification and change of ownership, Reporting Hospital Quality Data for Annual Payment and other quality data reporting and value-based purchasing programs, Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) Audits and other post pay audits and national audit initiatives, managed care joint ventures and managed care contracting, antitrust, medical staff and peer review issues, bylaws, credentialing, business transactions acquisitions, mergers, consolidation, joint ventures, risk management, quality assurance, HIPAA, E-health and EMTALA. She handles matters before the Provider Reimbursement Review Board and other administrative review bodies, CMS, the OIG, federal AUSAs, State Medicaid fraud units and federal courts.
